Users of STAGLEE Player on STAGLEE are required to read and understand these “Terms of Use for STAGLEE Player” (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) before using the service. By using STAGLEE Player, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
These Terms form part of the Membership Guidelines () stipulated separately.
If the user is a minor, parental or legal guardian consent must be obtained before using this service. If a minor uses the service, it is deemed that such consent has been obtained.
Purpose of These Terms
These Terms apply to users (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) who primarily use STAGLEE Player (hereinafter “the Service”), a feature within STAGLEE (hereinafter “the Website”) operated by 4CREATOR JAPAN (hereinafter “4CREATOR”). The purpose of these Terms is to convey the details and precautions of the Service and to establish a basic set of rules for its use.
Definitions
- STAGLEE Player: Refers to the collective system of all channels on the Website that have been opened by registered performers (hereinafter referred to as “Performers”) through the designated procedures.
- Channel Provider: A Channel Provider (hereinafter “CH Provider”) is a Performer who has opened a channel within STAGLEE Player.
- Channel: A channel refers to an area of the Website in which each CH Provider stores self-produced or self-created articles (web pages).
- Monthly Pass: A Monthly Pass grants access rights to specific channels and is synonymous with the “Member Plan” on the Website.
Articles
- All articles within a channel are created and managed by the respective CH Provider. The content and frequency of updates are determined at the CH Provider’s discretion.
- Each article consists of a “preview” and a “main content” section. The main content is accessible only to users who have obtained a valid Monthly Pass.
Access to Main Article Content
Users can review previews and general outlines of channels and articles. To access the full article content, users must apply for a Monthly Pass through the designated procedures on the Website.
Monthly Pass
A Monthly Pass is issued immediately upon successful payment via the payment service Stripe. It is valid for one month from the date of subscription and automatically renews unless canceled. However, if payment fails due to reasons such as expired credit cards, the Monthly Pass may be forcibly canceled after a grace period.
The price of each Monthly Pass is determined by the CH Provider and may change at any time. New prices apply only to new subscribers. Ongoing subscriptions will retain the original price at the time of their subscription.
Payment Service: Stripe
Users acknowledge that:
- Stripe is a payment service provided by Stripe, Inc. in the U.S. (Stripe Japan, Inc. in Japan), and is not operated by this Website;
- This Website does not retain any credit card information of users.
Card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure interface and are not stored on this Website. Instead, encrypted tokens are transmitted directly to Stripe's PCI DSS-certified server, ensuring that no card information is ever transmitted to, processed, or stored by this Website or its merchants.
Application for Monthly Pass
To view full article content, users must first register as a member (free) and log in to the Website.
Once logged in, users can access the Monthly Pass application page, confirm the channel and pricing, and follow the prescribed application procedure. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure they are applying for the correct channel. If the user is not certain that they are applying for the correct channel, they must contact 4CREATOR before starting the application process.
Cancellation of Monthly Pass
Users may cancel their Monthly Pass at any time.
Please complete the procedure from the “Member Plan” page, accessible after logging in.
After cancellation, access to the channel will remain valid until the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances once payment has been completed.
Use of Comment Function
Users may send questions or messages to CH Providers via the comment function within articles. However, CH Providers are under no obligation to reply.
Users must use respectful language and refrain from defamation, harassment, or any expression that could harm others. Additionally, users may not post any content that could identify third parties. If inappropriate content is reported, 4CREATOR reserves the right to delete the post or revoke the user's Monthly Pass at its sole discretion. In such cases, the user may not appeal or request a refund.
Users acknowledge that they may not assert copyright or other rights over any content they submit. They must also ensure their submissions do not infringe upon third-party rights.
If a user cancels their Monthly Pass, 4CREATOR is not obligated to delete the user's past posts and will not respond to any such requests.
CH Providers may delete any post they deem inappropriate without notifying the poster or providing reasons. Users cannot object to such deletions.
Display Name of Commenter
When a user posts a comment, their Display Name — the name provided during member registration — will be shown publicly. A notification will also be automatically sent to the CH Provider within a few minutes. This notification will include the user's registered first and last name, instead of their Display Name.
Obligation to Protect Personal Information
Users and CH Providers must not disclose any personal information obtained through comments without the subject’s consent. Reposting comment content on external sites without permission is strictly prohibited.
Accuracy of Article Content
This Website does not guarantee the accuracy of article content within channels.
Articles are written and published under the responsibility of CH Providers and may reflect their personal beliefs or opinions. Users must understand that articles may contain errors, personal views, ideologies, biases, or statements. Users access and use such content at their own discretion and risk, and may not make claims or complaints based on the content.
Use of Articles
Users may not use any article (including comments) beyond personal use. This includes sharing with third parties or taking screenshots and reposting them on other websites.
All content is protected by copyright. Any use beyond personal scope requires the prior consent of the CH Provider. Without explicit permission, users may not use any portion of an article.
Please note that use of content including Website-specific resources also requires prior approval from this Website.
Closure of Channel
CH Providers may close their channel by providing at least 60 days' advance notice (excluding the closure date). This notice is deemed sufficient if published within the channel.
If a channel is scheduled to close, users must take responsibility to cancel their own Monthly Pass. Payments already completed due to failure to cancel in time are non-refundable.
Users may not claim ignorance of the notice as grounds for objection or compensation.
